Rules used by this evaluator
Calling adds twice the ante. The dealer qualifies with a pair of fours or better. Both hands use their best five-card combination from two hole cards and the five community cards.
When the dealer does not qualify, the ante pays by the table below and the call pushes. Against a qualifying dealer, a player win pays the ante by the table and the call at 1 to 1. A dealer win loses both wagers; a tie pushes both.
The preset keeps these rules and payouts together. The AA Bonus side bet is excluded. Check that your game's rules match before using the comparison.

Compare both actions from the same starting point
Both results include the ante and use the position before it was paid as their baseline. With a $10 ante, folding has a net result of −$10. Calling adds $20, and the evaluator settles both wagers for every possible completion.
Call EV minus fold EV gives the advantage of calling in this model. A positive difference favors calling. A negative difference favors folding. A call can have negative whole-hand expected value while still being better than losing the ante by folding.
The chance of beating the dealer is only one part of the calculation. Dealer qualification and the ante payout associated with your final hand also affect the average net result.
Exact enumeration
Five known cards leave 47 cards available. The evaluator considers every unordered pair of remaining community cards and every unordered dealer pair from the cards left after that choice: 1,081 × 990 = 1,070,190 equally weighted combinations.
For each combination it ranks both seven-card hands, applies the preset settlement, and averages the net result. The calculation is exact for the entered cards and rules; displayed dollar values are rounded. Duplicate cards cannot describe a valid deal.
Common questions
Is this the same as Texas Hold'em or Ultimate Texas Hold'em?
This calculation covers the listed Casino Hold'em ante-and-call rules. Other games and betting structures need their own settlement model.
Will the better expected-value action win this hand?
The comparison averages all possible completions. The actual dealer cards and remaining board determine the result of one hand.
